I can’t think of a more important investment than family photos. These sessions can be intimate and in-home, they can be filled with outdoor adventure, they can be a traditional portrait in front of beautiful Bend, Oregon scenery, or anything you can dream up. THE FAMILY PHOTO SESSIONS
The packages
ALL FAMILIES ARE UNIQUE. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to family portrait sessions. The family photography packages listed below are just a starting point. Prices and timing will vary depending on your family’s individual needs. While my preferred time for family photos is the hour right before the sun sets, or “golden hour,” not every family can make this work. You’ll see plenty of examples here and in my gallery of portraits taken from morning to mid-day, indoors, and out. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with questions! We will work together to come up with a package that is right for you.
the mini FAMILY session
$475 for a 30 to 45-minute session. This cost includes a professionally edited gallery of gorgeous images delivered to you online. This is a great option for couples or a small family. You will have printing rights for all of the photos delivered to you, with an option to have your images processed at a printing house using heirloom-quality inks and papers.
FAMILY COLLECTION 1
$725 for a 60-90 minute session for up to 8 people. Your beautiful images will be delivered in a personal online gallery with all printing rights. Additionally, heritage-quality prints, wall art, and albums are available to my clients to provide cherished keepsakes for generations to come. FAMILY COLLECTION 2
$895 for a 2-2 and a half hour session. Your collection of images will be delivered in an online gallery with all printing rights. This is a package that is perfect for larger groups and extended families with multiple groupings. Gorgeous prints and albums will make heirloom pieces to last for generations and are a priceless addition to any session.
IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a non-refundable $50 retainer fee to book your session date and time. This amount is deducted from overall session total.
THE FAMILY SESSION EXPERIENCE
I strive to make every family session relaxed, fun, and playful. A family photo session isn’t necessarily something everyone in the family looks forward to, I know! So let’s just hang out, and I’ll bring the camera. The best scenario is one where everyone feels comfortable and happy to be there and there are tons of fun places around Bend to explore and just play! It’s my job to capture the smiles (and sometimes the tears) of your unique family.
We will work together to determine the ideal location for your family photos. This might be at home, or in one of Bend’s gorgeous scenic areas. We will take our time, play, laugh, and get silly to get those natural smiles from the grumpiest toddler to the most sullen teen. You will have a wonderful variety of images to choose from and I will help you decide on which images to print for the wall or for a keepsake album. Like every photographer, I prefer to shoot at golden hour, the hour before the sun sets or the hour after it rises. This isn’t always the ideal time for little ones though, so we will work together to determine what time works best for your family.
If this is an extended family session, we will take the time to ensure multiple groupings and poses to highlight each and every part of the family dynamic. And I definitely won’t forget those candid moments in between!
