Jen has been a Bend local for the past 25 years and has an immense love of this place and its natural beauty. Her passion is helping clients feel comfortable and confident in front of her camera so that she can capture authentic moments, memories, and personalities. Jen has a true love of connection and a knack for connecting with her clients so she can understand who they are and what they truly want from their photographs. Jen has been a high school teacher for over 20 years, making her uniquely qualified to work with seniors as they embark on their next chapter. She has over 5 years of professional senior portrait experience and finds it one of her favorite kinds of portraiture. Connecting and building strong relationships with her students has always been her biggest strength as a professional educator, and she brings that warmth and openness to her senior portrait clients as well.

The name of this business, Jen Lee Photography, is inspired by her late grandfather, Lee, from whom she got her middle name. As a self-made, successful businessman, he always encouraged her to find her “thing” and then go do it. Jen loves building and being involved in community and, as a long-time Bendite, has strong connections throughout Central Oregon. She has worked not only with teens and tweens, but also various non-profits, businesses, and families in a multitude of ways.

Jen strives to help her clients capture their authentic selves through her images and provides a laid-back and easy-going atmosphere to make everyone comfortable and confident throughout the session. She is also a bit of a self-proclaimed perfectionist and takes great pride in hand-editing each image.
